SaaSBoomi’s AI Radar : India’s open map to the AI-first startup movement

Back in the early days of SaaS, we were scavengers. Always on the lookout for directories, peer networks, and shared resources.

A few generous individuals opened up their databases to the public. The ecosystem embraced every one of them. That spirit of openness laid the groundwork for what we stand on today.

It came together brick by brick, row by row, column by column. One pay-it-forward act at a time.

That mindset is part of SaaSBoomi’s DNA. And it now flows into BoomiAI, our next frontier for India’s AI-first founders.

Today, everyone’s trying to figure out who the real AI-first startups are. Where they’re based. What problems are they solving? But most of these teams are head-down building. Finding them isn’t easy.

This lack of visibility creates friction for founders, for investors, for potential partners. Pilots don’t happen. Opportunities get missed. Ecosystem momentum slows.

When I recently met Ujjwal and explored synergies, I saw something in him. A kind of flare. The kind that lights up a whole decade.

So, like in that famous John Wick line, I gave him an impossible task. And he did it. The datasheets he dug through laid the foundation for what we now call the AI Radar.

It starts as a living, open directory of over 200 AI-first startups from India. But this is just the beginning. The list will keep growing.

We’ll keep this updated through a mix of community submissions, manual curation, and ecosystem signals. Over time, AI Radar won’t just be a list. We plan to layer it with richer metadata: verticals, use cases, GTM stages, funding info, pilot-readiness, making it searchable by what founders and CXOs are actually looking for. We’re also exploring private discovery channels for enterprise CXOs to connect with the right AI-first builders based on their current priorities.

Think of it as infrastructure. A discovery engine. A starting point for everything from hiring to investing to collaborating. A way to cut through the noise and focus on real builders.

If you’re part of this ecosystem, use it.

If you’re building and think you belong here, fill out this short form, and we’ll help you get in.

You could find your next pilot. Your next co-founder. Your next customer. Or be found by the person who changes your company’s trajectory.

Because AI in India isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a movement.

Let’s build it together.
