What happens when a group of passionate AI innovators and builders come together to exchange ideas, challenge the status quo, and push the boundaries of innovation? SaaSBoomi’s IndAI Demos, hosted in January at the Fractal office in Mumbai, was exactly that—a gathering of founders, experts, and AI enthusiasts exploring the next big leaps in AI. More than just a showcase, it was a playground for bold ideas and transformative insights, creating ripple effects that could shape the future of AI.
As a founder building in AI (SmartCounsel.AI), I knew this event was not just an opportunity to showcase our work but a space to learn, grow, and connect.

The Heart of the IndAI Demos
The energy was electric as the event began and the stage was set for a day of discovery, with six early-stage AI startups ready to showcase their products and seek insights and guidance from the experts gathered.
What made the day truly special wasn’t just the impressive startups or the experienced experts and enthusiasts—though they were outstanding—but the genuine atmosphere of trust and collaboration. Every founder had their moment to shine, guided by a panel of seasoned leaders like Srikanth Velamakanni (Co-founder, Fractal.ai), Aakrit Vaish (Advisor, IndiaAI Mission), Sharad Sanghi (CEO, Neysa Networks), Sandeep Shah (CEO, InVideo), and Himanshu Nautiyal (CPO, Fractal.ai). The focus was on fostering innovation, sharing knowledge, and helping each idea reach its full potential.

Takeaways that stick
One insight resonated deeply with me and many others as the day unfolded: focus matters.
The experts emphasized the need for startups to adopt a verticalized approach—zeroing in on a well-defined ideal customer profile (ICP) while staying nimble.
For SmartCounsel.AI, this struck a chord. We have always believed in the power of clarity, and this feedback sharpened our understanding of where to aim next.
Beyond the invaluable advice, the camaraderie stood out. Founders openly shared their struggles, wins, and dreams—a powerful reminder that while the journey can feel lonely, the ecosystem is vibrant and supportive.
As the day ended, I felt immense pride—not just for our work at SmartCounsel.AI but for being part of a movement larger than any one startup. The IndAI Demos weren’t just about showcasing AI products; they were about laying the groundwork for India’s future in AI innovation.
The collaborative spirit, the relentless execution, and the generosity of experts willing to share their hard-earned wisdom—this is what SaaSBoomi stands for. It’s not just an event; it’s a call to action for every founder who dares to dream big.
To anyone building in this space: join us. The road is challenging, but with events like these, you’re never walking it alone. Let’s innovate, collaborate, and redefine what’s possible—together.
