TWELVE YEARS.
That’s how long it had been since I last walked into Zoho’s bucket building in Chennai. Twelve years since I’d stood in the very place where quiet ambition once brewed, now a beating heart of Indian SaaS.
Returning to their campus last week stirred something deep in me.
In that time, Zoho didn’t just grow. They rewrote the playbook. From quiet conviction to global ambition. They didn’t follow the path. They carved it.
The energy on campus was unmistakable: focused, grounded, alive. I spent time with Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, who leads AI Research at Zoho. Our conversation echoed the Zoho way: build patiently, think ethically, stay rooted.
It reminded me why we do what we do at SaaSBoomi. Even more so now, as we begin a new chapter with BoomiAI.
Here’s what’s taking shape:
BoomiAI Sangam
A new forum at Vibe ’25 (July 10–11, Bangalore), in partnership with Upekkha. CXOs meet AI-native startups. Real talk. Sector-specific playbooks. No fluff. Know a CXO who should be there? Send them our way.
Vertical Velocity
A 6-week immersion in the US for 15 AI-first Indian startups ($100K+ ARR). Mentorship. Market access. Candid conversations. Not a tour. A cohort. We’re still curating this and intros are welcome.
Caravan ’25
We return to the Valley, Oct 7–13. One week. Global context. Builder energy. Deep connections. Registrations will open soon.
This is a new climb. The terrain is different. The tools are evolving. But the roots hold.
We’re learning as we build. Listening as we move.
Always rooted in community. Always reaching forward.
From roots to rise.
